Chiều 31/7, Phó giám đốc Sở GTVT TP.HCM Phan Công Bằng đến kiểm tra công tác chuẩn bị triển khai thu phí không dừng (ETC) tại các trạm BOT trên địa bàn như trạm thu phí Xa lộ Hà Nội, An Sương- An Lạc, Nguyễn Văn Linh.
“Như chúng ta thấy hiện nay chủ đầu tư các trạm BOT trên địa bàn TP.HCM đã hoàn thành việc lắp đặt hệ thống thu phí tự động không dừng và đã thí điểm từ nhiều ngày nay. Dù số lượng phương tiện dán thẻ ETC đã tăng cao nhưng tỷ lệ chưa dán vẫn còn nhiều nên dự báo ngày mai khi chính thức thu phí không dừng cũng là ngày đầu tuần nên sẽ xảy ra tình trạng ùn tắc”- ông Bằng dự báo.
Lãnh đạo Sở GTVT TP cho biết đã yêu cầu Thanh tra giao thông trong ngày mai tăng cường lực lượng phối hợp với phía Công an, CSGT triển khai các phương án phòng chống ùn tắc. Đồng thời ông lưu ý ngày mai triển khai thu phí không dừng nên đề nghị các phương tiện chưa dán thẻ ETC nên chọn lộ trình khác di chuyển thích hợp.
Theo ghi nhận của PV VietNamNet, hiện nay tại các trạm BOT trên địa bàn TP, chủ đầu tư đều tăng cường lực lượng hướng dẫn từ xa cho chủ phương tiện nhận biết làn thu phí tự động không dừng.
Dọc tuyến đường, trạm thu phí đều đặt băng rôn tuyên truyền người dân thực hiện đúng quy định: “Xe không đủ điều kiện vào làn ETC sẽ bị phạt tiền từ 1-2 triệu đồng theo Nghị định 123/2021/NĐCP’.
Nhiều phương tiện chưa đủ điều kiện đi vào làn ETC sẽ phải thu phí thủ công và được nhân viên đơn vị cung cấp dịch vụ hướng dẫn, hỗ trợ đăng ký dán thẻ ETC.
Hiện nay, TP.HCM hiện có 5 trạm BOT ở các cửa ngõ bao gồm: An Sương - An Lạc, xa lộ Hà Nội, cầu Phú Mỹ, Nguyễn Văn Linh và trạm Phú Hữu (trạm này chưa thu phí).
